It is argued on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner though has been placed in select list but not offered appointment pursuant to the selection held for Constable CAPF/ NIA/ SSF and Riflemen in Assam Rifles Examination, 2022. Sri Pal on the contrary submits that petitioner fell in the reserved category and the relevant proceedings of scrutiny is going on and very soon an appropriate decision shall be taken. In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of with a direction that respondent no. 3 shall take final decision in the matter within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
