By means of present petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for a writ of mandamus commanding respondent no. 3 to consider the claim of the petitioner for extra ordinary pension in accordance with Rule 34 of the U.P. Police (Extraordinary Pension Regulation 1961 (Amended by First Amendment Rules, 1975) with the arrears w.e.f. 01/02/2021, within stipulated time alongwith arrears and interest.
