By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, petitioner prays for a writ of mandamus to command respondent no.3 to consider restoration of pension of the petitioner on the pay scale he would have drawn but for punishment of withholding two years' increment, which too has lapsed. 3. It is argued that since the period of two years have expired, therefore, pension of the petitioner should be restored. He submits that in this regard petitioner has already represented the matter and recommendation for which has been made by the Superindent of Police, Fatehpur to the Finance Controller U.P.
