Heard learned counsel for the parties. 2. By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, petitioner has prayed for quashing of the order passed by the disciplinary authority as well as the appellate authority whereby petitioner has been punished with a penalty of Rs.21,87,660/- which was further reduced at the stage of appeal as Rs.12,67,140/-. 3. Learned Standing Counsel has raised preliminary objection as to the maintainability of this petition on the ground that the petitioner has alternative efficacious remedy to file revision before the State Government under the U.P. Government Servant (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1999. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner could not dispute the above facts. 5. In view of the above, I decline to grant indulgence in the matter.
