By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for following substantial relief: "(i). Issue a writ order or direction, in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to ensure the release of post retiral benefit i.e. Leave Encashment in favour of the petitioner expeditiously/ within time bound period." 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that petitioner has retired on 31st July, 2023 and in above regard petitioner has already approached the authority concerned for consideration of his claim by means of applications dated 26th July, 2024, 25th August, 2025 and last being 27th August, 2025, which has remained pending till date.
