Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel. By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner wants expeditious disposal of pending departmental appeal preferred against the order passed by disciplinary authority dated 21.04.2025. It is submitted that the appeal was preferred by the petitioner on 28.04.2025 which has remained undisposed of till dated. Learned Standing Counsel submits that he has no objection in the event this petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 2 to decide the pending departmental appeal of the petitioner and pass appropriate order strictly in accordance with law. In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of with a direction that respondent no. 2 shall decide the petitioner's pending departmental appeal following the procedure prescribed under the U.P.
