By means of present petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for a writ of mandamus commanding respondent to give joining letter to the petitioner . Sri Pal, learned Solicitor General submits that petitioner's result as per his own admission made in paragraph 17 of the petition has been withheld and hence there is no question of offering appointment to the petitioner. Upon pointed query being made, learned counsel for the petitioner only raised a plea that there was recommendation to give appointment to the petitioner on a particular post, however, he does not dispute that the result of the petitioner has continued to remain withheld. In view of above, no relief as such can be granted at this stage. Writ petition is accordingly dismissed. Consigned to records. (Ajit Kumar,J.)
