Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Standing Counsel. 2. By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution petitioner has challenged the order passed by the disciplinary authority dated 02.02.2022 as well as the order passed by the appellate authority dated 08.07.2024. 3. It is argued on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is more aggrieved by the order passed by the appellate authority as his appeal has been dismissed on technical ground of delay whereas the appeal was preferred by him within time. It is submitted that as per the order of the appellate authority itself petitioner preferred appeal against the order of the disciplinary authority dated 02.02.2022 on 03.03.2022 and since the petitioner was working at Muzaffarnagar which fell within the territorial jurisdiction of Deputy Inspector General Jail, Meerut Circle, Meerut, he preferred a
