By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for a direction to the respondent no. 3 to consider her claim for grant of family pension on account of death of her father who died in harness on 06.10.1998 and thereafter, her mother was receiving family pension, who was also died on 01.11.2021. It appears from the records that the petitioner has already represented the matter to the respondent no. 3 vide representation dated 06.02.2024 which is still pending. Upon a pointed query being made, learned Standing Counsel states that since unmarried daughters have been included in the category of dependents to avail benefit of family pension under the Government Order dated 16.05.2015, the concerned competent respondent may be directed to look into the grievance of the petitioner and
