By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for following relief as substantial relief: "i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to promote the petitioner on the post of Naib Tehsildar w.e.f. 27.06.2022 by means of the aforesaid list issued by the office of U.P. Revenue Board, Section - 3, Lucknow, in which, most of the juniors of the petitioner have been promoted on the post of Naib Tehsildar." It appears from the records that the petitioner has already represented the matter to the respondent no. 2 vide representation dated 03.08.2025 which is still pending consideration.
