Court No. - 4 HON'BLE AJIT KUMAR, J. 1. Heard learned counsel for the parties. 2. By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution petitioners have challenged the order passed by the disciplinary authority dated 17.02.2025 and 24.02.2025 respectively on the ground that the order amounts to double geopardy. 3. Learned Standing Counsel raised a preliminary objection as the petitioners have alternative efficacious remedy of statutory appeal before the higher authority under the relevant Discipline and Appeal Rules. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner could not dispute the above facts. 5. In view of the above, I decline to grant indulgence in the matter at this stage. However it is provided that in the event petitioners prefer individual departmental appeal before the appellate authority within four weeks from today and the same shall be decided by passing individual separate orders within a further period of two months. 6.
