By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution petitioner has prays for a writ of mandamus to command respondent No. 2, 3 and 4 to issue appointment order to the petitioner for the post of Constable. 3. Learned Standing Counsel has obtain instruction in the matter which is taken on record. As per the instructions, the candidature of petitioner for the post in question has stood cancelled. 4. In view of the above no such relief now as prayed for can be granted, however, liberty rests with the petitioner to challenge the order of cancellation, if so advised. 5.
