This is a petition under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, seeking quashing of FIR No. 539/2023, dated 06.08.2023, registered at P.S Lajpat Nagar, Delhi under Sections 279/337 IPC and all proceedings emanating therefrom on the basis of settlement between the parties. 2. As per allegations made in the FIR, on 06.08.2023, a collusion occurred between respondent no. 2’s bike (DL35AN8717) and CRL.M.C. 6642/2025 Page 1 of 4 Signature Not Verified Digitally Signed By:VAISHALI PRUTHI Signing Date:18.09.2025 12:09:23 petitioner’s car (DL3CCX2012), leading to injuries to respondent no. 2. Chargesheet has since been filed under sections 279/338 IPC and against the petitioner and cognizance has been taken by Ld. magistrate. 3. During the course of proceedings, the parties amicably resolved their disputes and executed a Settlement Agreement dated 07.07.2025. In view of the aforesaid settlement petitioner has paid Rs. 2,60,000/- (Rupees Two Lacs Sixty Thousand only) as compensation to the complainant.
