After hearing the parties what comes out is that the respondent herein was appointed on ad-hoc basis as Consolidation Lekhpal on 19.07.1989. There is an order on record dated 11.08.1997, veracity of which has not been doubted by the appellants, according to which, the services of respondent-Gokil Ram were confirmed on the post of Consolidation Lekhpal w.e.f. 31.03.1995. 5.
