The present appeal is filed against the judgment dated 14.10.2022 (hereafter ‘impugned judgment’) and order on sentence dated 25.03.2023 (hereafter ‘impugned order on sentence’) passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge (‘ASJ’), North West, Rohini, Delhi in SC No. 53351/2016 arising out of FIR No. 224/2016 (‘FIR’). 2. By the impugned judgment, the learned ASJ convicted the appellant for the offences under Sections 6 and 8 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (‘POCSO Act’) and Section 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (‘IPC’).
