The grievance raised in this writ petition was earlier raised before the S.D.M. concerned who has decided the application of the petitioner vide order dated 08.09.2025, a copy of which has been provided to the petitioner's Counsel. 3. In these circumstances, we see no reason to proceed further on merits. However, we leave it open for the petitioner to approach the District Magistrate who is said to be the District Election Officer for the purposes of the ensuing gram panchayat elections which has not been notified as yet, and if he has jurisdiction in the matter, he may consider the grievance of the petitioner as per law, but with expedition. 4.
