Petition has been filed seeking action against the respondent nos. 5 & 6 alleging embezzlement of Government money by the said respondents. 2. Counsel for the respondents with reference to the Uttar Pradesh Employment Guarantee Grievance Redressal Mechanism Rules, 2009 (for short, 'the Rules of 2009') submits that petitioner can always approach the competent authority under the said Rules and filing of the PIL for the purpose is wholly unnecessary and, therefore, the petition deserves dismissal. 3. A perusal of the Rules of 2009 reveals that under Rule 8, a complaint may be sent by Post or by Fax also. Once, the petitioner has made complaints on 15.07.2025 and 14.08.2025, the respondents can always entertain the said complaints under the Rules of 2009 and proceed accordingly.
