This petition, purportedly in public interest, has been filed by the petitioners, inter alia, seeking quashing of the Certificate of Accreditation granted to Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University, Agra. 2. Submissions have been made that the University in question has large number of affiliated colleges and on account of grant of Certificate of Accreditation by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council to the University, the same is likely to be misused by the affiliated authorities. 3. A perusal of the record indicates that except for a wild apprehension, nothing has been placed on record to indicate that the accreditation has been misused by the affiliates of the University.
