This petition, purportedly in public interest, has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the State Government to make proper inquiry from the Committee of superior authorities with regard to alleged illegal allotment of houses under the P.M. Awas Yojana in Village Panchayat Jaitipur, Block Jaitipur, District Shahjahanpur. 2. Submissions have been made that an inquiry was conducted wherein on 29.08.2023, the Block Development Officer indicated that 12 person were ineligible, however, in a subsequent inquiry by the same officer on 26.06.2024, it has been indicated that all the eligible persons have been allotted house and that the complaint has been made on account of inter se political rivalry. 3.
