This petition, purportedly in public interest, has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents to construct the Gate in the village-Dhorika, Post-siyarapar, Tehsil-Basti Sadar, District-Basti in the name of late Kamla Prasad (freedom fighter). 2. A perusal of the petition indicates that the Gate is being constructed as Nishad Raj Gate and the petitioner is seeking that the same should be in the name of late Kamla Prasad (freedom fighter), who is petitioner's grandfather. 3. Filing of a petition in the nature of public interest seeking construction of a Gate by a particular name and that also of petitioner's grandfather without there being any Statute in this regard, cannot be countenanced. 4.
