This petition purportedly in the public interest has been filed by the petitioner seeking direction to the respondents to reconstruct the 3 meter wide and 500 meter long new road in place of the public utility land in Khasra No. 20 (recorded as Rasta), which has been included/required for the construction of Madhya Ganga Nahar, Khand-4, Phase-II. 2. Submissions have been made that the land which was recorded as Rasta has been utilized for construction of the canal and in place of the said recorded Rasta, the respondents have not provided any road. 3.
