This petition purportedly in public interest has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents to permit the Gram Pradhan for selection of fair price shop dealer in an open meeting. 2. Instructions have been produced by learned Standing Counsel inter-alia indicating that in terms of the Rules and Government Orders, the shop in question has been allotted to the legal representative of the deceased dealer of the fair price shop by order dated 29.08.2025. 3. In view of the fact that the respondents, during the pendency of the present petition, have allotted the shop to the legal representative of the deceased dealer, no case for entertaining the present Public Interest Litigation is made out.
