The present petition has been filed by the petitioner assailing an order dated 07.02.2023 passed by the respondent no.2 (Foreigner Division of Ministry of Home Affairs), whereby, the review petition filed by the petitioner under Section 15A of the Citizenship Act, 1955, challenging the revocation of his registration as an Overseas Citizen of India Cardholder, has been rejected. The said revocation of registration as OCI cardholder was done on 24.05.2018. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that an OCI Card bearing no. A2892864 was issued to the petitioner on 28.11.2017.
