This appeal has been filed by the appellant challenging the Order dated 03.06.2023 passed by the learned District Judge (Commercial Court-01) East District, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi (hereinafter referred to as the, „Trial Court‟) in CS (COMM) No. 171/2021, titled Satish Kumar Jain v. Jain Shikanji Pvt. Ltd., on an application filed by the respondent under Order XXXIX Rule 2A of the Civil Procedure Code, 1908 (in short, „CPC‟) and finding the appellant guilty of wilful disobedience of the Order of ad-interim injunction dated 05.11.2022, and visiting one of the Directors of the appellant namely, Mr. Anubhav Jain to civil imprisonment for a period of eight weeks. He was directed to surrender before the Court 2. When the appeal came to be listed before thi
