This petition has been filed challenging the Order dated 10.07.2018 passed by the learned Central Administrative Tribunal, Principal Bench, New Delhi (hereinafter referred to as the „Tribunal‟) in O.A. No.1010/2012, titled Mr. Dileep G. v. The Union Public Service Commission & Anr., dismissing the O.A. filed by the petitioner herein. The petitioner had filed the above O.A. being aggrieved by the rejection of his candidature for the post of Senior Scientific Officer Grade-II (Lie-Detector) with respondent no.2 for which he had applied pursuant to the advertisement dated 27.08.2011- 02.09.2011. 3. The advertisement, as regards the essential qualifications for the post, prescribed as under:- “QUALIFICATION ESSENTIAL: (i) Master’s Degree in Criminology or Psychology from a recognized University or equivalent.
