HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD CRIMINAL MISC. WRIT PETITION No. - 4195 of 2025 Sandeep Yadav And 4 Others .....Petitioner(s) Versus State Of U.P. And 3 Others .....Respondent(s) Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Harish Yadav Counsel for Respondent(s) : G.A. Court No. - 43 HON'BLE SIDDHARTHA VARMA, J. HON'BLE ABDUL SHAHID, J. 1. Sri Harish Yadav, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that a charge-sheet had been submitted by the Police in the instant matter and he, therefore, prays that the writ petition be dismissed as not pressed and further prays that the amount which had been deposited in the Mediation Centre be returned to the petitioners. 2. We find that the amount of Rs. 35,000/- as per the order dated 5.3.2025 was deposited by the petitioners. Rs. 5,000/- was utilized by the Mediation Centre. However we are of the view that since the mediation did not proceed the remaining amount of Rs. 30,000/- be returned to the petitioners in person. The petitioner no. 1 may approach the Mediation Centre, which would refund the amount of Rs. 30,000/- by way of a cheque. 3. The instant writ petition is accordingly, dismissed as not pressed.
