Petitioner aggrieved by the history sheet which had been opened vis- a-vis petitioner on 2.8.2007 has filed this writ petition for quashing of the history sheet. 2. Learned AGA submits that if the petitioner files an application before the Superintendent of Police, then the same shall be decided in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible. 3. Under such circumstances and without going into merits of the case, we provide that if the petitioner files an application with regard to the wiping out of the History Sheet before the Superintendent of Police, Kanpur Dehat within a period of ten days from today, then the same shall be decided on its own merits within one month thereafter. 4.
