This writ petition has been filed for quashing of impugned judgment and externment order dated 24.7.2025, passed by the Presiding Officer/Additional Commissioner of Police, Commissionerate, Ghaziabad in Case No. 645 of 2024, under Section 2/3 of the U.P. Control of Goondas Act, 1970, Police Station Masuri, District Ghaziabad. 2. Contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that after an order was passed on 24.7.2025 under Section 2/3 of the U.P. Control of Goondas Act, 1970, the petitioner filed an appeal under Section 6 of the Act on 29.7.2025. It is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that no interim order was granted in the appeal and, therefore, during the pendency of the appeal, the petitioner would have to be externed. 3.
