As per the prosecution case, in brief, on 18.05.2025 in- charge Inspector, Police Station Kotwali, District Etawah received an information that Wahid and Shakeel have a meat shop, in which cow meat is being sold by them. On the said information, police personnel reached at the shop and when enquired, both the shopkeepers told that they have licence to sell buffalo meat. Thereafter information was given to the food department officials and Chief Veterinary Officer on the spot. After some time other police personnel and administrative officers reached there.
