Heard Sri Arun Kumar Shukla, learned Amicus Curiae appearing on behalf of the sole surviving appellant Amar Singh and learned AGA for the State. 2. Present criminal appeal arises from the judgement and order dated 13.09.1985 passed by Sri Ramji Lal learned Ist Additional Sessions Judge, Etawah, in Sessions Trial No. 330 of 1984 (State vs. Mauji Lal, Amar Singh and Lajja Ram). By that judgement and order, the learned court below has convicted all the three accused for offence under Section 148 I.P.C. and sentenced them three years rigorous imprisonment and also it has convicted all the three accused for offence under Section 302 read with 149 I.P.C. and sentenced them for life.
