Heard Sri Purushottam Dixit, learned counsel for the appellant and Ms. Archana Singh, learned AGA-I for the State. 2. Present criminal appeal arises from the judgement and order dated 25.06.1984 passed by Sri K.P. Singh, learned Vth Additional Sessions Judge, Muzaffarnagar, in Sessions Trial No. 193 of 1983 (State vs. Rajendra) whereby the learned court below has convicted the present appellant for offence under Section 302 I.P.C. and sentenced him for life. Further, learned court below has convicted the present appellant for offence under Section 354 I.P.C. and sentenced him for two years rigorous imprisonment. Both sentences were to run concurrently. 3. The appellant may have remained in jail for about 7 years before being enlarged on bail by this Court, vide order dated 08.03.1991.
