By way of this appeal, the appellant BSES Yamuna Power Ltd. is seeking setting aside of the judgment dated 31.03.2012 [hereafter „impugned judgment‟], passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Special Electricity Court-2, Karkardooma Court, Delhi [hereafter „Trial Court‟] in SC No. 32/2011, arising out of FIR No. 288/2007, registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar, Delhi for commission of offence punishable under Sections 135 and 138 of the Electricity Act, 2003. 2.
