This appeal under Section 37 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (for short 'the Act') is directed against the judgement dated 10.04.2025 passed by Commercial Court, Varanasi, whereby the application filed by the appellant under Section 34 of the Act for setting aside the arbitral award dated 27.06.2024 has been rejected. 2. The award impugned was passed by the Arbitrator ordering payment of Rs.5,49,73,041 with simple interest at the rate of 12% from the date of invocation of arbitration clause i.e. 02.07.2022 till the date of award other than on Claim Nos. 3, 8 and 9.
