The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of Bhartiya Nagarika Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, (“BNSS”) to trace and produce the son of the Petitioner, who is about 28 years of age. 2. It is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that his such son has been missing since 03rd August, 2024. 3. Admittedly, on the basis of complaint received from the petitioner, Police Station Jamia Nagar has already registered FIR No.334/2024 under Section 140 (3) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (Section 367 of Indian Penal Code) on 19.09.2024. As per the Status Report, the investigation is being carried out, and despite best effort being made, at the moment, there is no clue about the son of the petitioner.
