Primary the Distribution Corporation is seeking to recovery Rs. 37,32,339/- towards electricity dues determined on the allegation of theft of electricity. 3. Petitioner contends that as of now he has not been given any opportunity to object to the demand, inasmuch as only a provisional demand may have been raised. However, the petitioner is not aware of any proceedings of final assessment. 4. On the other hand Shri Mukesh Kumar Singh, learned counsel for Distribution Corporation states, the petitioner has not participated in the proceedings.
