The instant writ petition has been preferred for a direction to respondents to provide the compensation of the acquired land (area 117.45 meters) situated at National Highway Azamgarh to Varanasi and for a further direction to respondents not to take over the land of petitioners without following the due procedure prescribed under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (in short the 'Act 2013'). 3.
