Heard Sri Sudhir Kumar Srivastava, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Pranjal Mehrotra, learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent nos.2 to 5, learned Standing Counsel for respondent nos.1 and 6 and perused the records. 2. The aforesaid writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following relief:- "To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no.4 to release the amount of the work carried out by the erstwhile firm of the petitioner in pursuance of the work order dated 23.12.2011 by the respondent no.4 with interest." 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was allocated the work vide official letter no.22(A)/Kanp/UPRNN/Su
