This writ petition has been instituted by the petitioners, 33 in number, all Class-IV employees of the Nagar Palika Parishad, Ghazipur (for short, 'the Nagar Palika'), seeking to quash the order dated 22.08.2013 passed by the President of the Nagar Palika. The petitioners further pray that a mandamus be issued to the respondents to pay them salary as regular Class-IV employees of the Nagar Palika from the date of their regularization in service. By the impugned order dated 22.08.2013, the President of the Nagar Palika has directed that the order of regularization of service passed by the Executive Officer in favour of the contract employees (which includes th
