The petitioner has preferred the instant writ petition seeking a direction upon the respondents to ensure payment of interest on the late payment of privileged leave encashment of petitioners at the interest rate of 12% per annum, within a specified period. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have given a representation before the respondent no.4 for interest on leave encashment, but nothing has been done till date.
