This petition, purportedly in public interest, has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the Collector to take possession of the land recorded as urban ceiling land situated at Village-Viharman Nagla, Tehsil and District-Bareilly from the land grabber, respondent Nos. 6 to 10 and declare them as land mafia. 2. On 02.07.2025, oral submission was made by counsel for the respondent-Development Authority, based on instructions, that the land in question, which is recorded as urban ceiling in the revenue record, is in possession of the Development Authority. 3.
