Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petition was filed seeking direction to respondent No. 2 to consider and decide the objections filed by the petitioner under the EIA Notification, 2006 before deciding the application filed by respondent No. 3. 2. Submissions have been made that though the application made by respondent No. 3 has been decided, objections filed by the petitioner have not been considered. 3. Once the application has been decided by competent authority, the petitioner has to take appropriate proceedings qua the said order, in accordance with law. 4. Insofar as the present petition is concerned, the same has been rendered infructuous. 5. The petition is, therefore, dismissed as having become infructuous. (Kshitij Shailendra,J.)
