Shri Nishant Shukla, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State informs the Court that the Government Order challenge in this PIL dated 22.12.2016 by which certain Castes were declared/included in the list of Scheduled Caste already stands quashed by this Court at Allahabad in Public Interest Litigation bearing No. 2129 of 2017 decided on 31.08.2022. 2. Apparently, such powers do not vest in the State Government, as, these issues are governed by the presidential constitutional order issued under Article 341 of the Constitution of India. 3.
