This writ petition, purportedly in public interest, has been filed by the petitioner seeking direction to the respondents to remove the alleged illegal encroachment from the property of Thakurji Ki Mathiya situated in Nagar Panchyat-Sahatwar, District-Ballia. 2. Submissions have been made that as many as 47 persons are in possession of the land of the Mathiya and even a petrol pump is existing. 3. One of the reports of 2011 produced indicates that certain persons were in possession/the constructions were existing from before 25 years, which makes the possession of the respondents for over 40 years now. 4. Filing of the PIL for the said purposes, wherein relief is being sought qua a Mathiya, said to be a trust, cannot be countenanced. 5. The petition is, therefore, dismissed leaving it open
