This petition, purportedly in public interest, has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents to remove the encroachment over the public utility land. 2. A perusal of the record indicates that the dispute between the parties is pending since the year 2018 and filing of a petition after eight years claiming the same to be in public interest, without resorting to the remedy available under law, cannot be countenanced. 3. The petition is therefore, dismissed, leaving it open for the petitioner to avail the remedy under law.
