This petition, purportedly in public interest, has been filed by the petitioners seeking quashing of the order dated 20.04.2010 passed by the Joint Director of Education, Varanasi Region, Region permitting the respondent no. 12 to lease out properties of the college in question. 2. Further prayer has been made seeking scraping of the management of the college and to restore all the properties of the college, appoint an Authorized Controller to manage the affairs of the college, declare all the lease deeds as void documents and all the shops leased out be restored back to the college. 3. Further prayer has been made that the Vice Chancellor of the University be directed to take appropriate action against respondent no. 12 under Sections 57 and 58 of the U.P. State Universities Act, 1973
