This petition, purportedly in public interest, has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents not to lay down a 11 KV overhead line. 2. Submissions have been made that already an underground line is existing and, therefore, there is no necessity to lay down an overhead line and, therefore, the respondents may be restrained from doing the same. 3. Having considered the submissions made in the petition, we do not find any reason to pass a direction, as prayed, as laying down of electricity line overhead or underground is within the domain of the respondents and it is for them to decide the requirements. The petitioner cannot claim any right to take a decision in this regard. 4. Consequently, there is no substance in the petition. The same is, therefore, dismissed. (Kshitij Shailendra, J) (Arun Bhans
