This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents for initiating action against respondent nos. 7 to 11 under Section 67 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 ('the Code'). 2. Submissions have been made that respondent nos. 7 to 11 are excavating sand from the path in question resulting in obstruction of the pathway and therefore, action be ordered to be initiated by the respondents. 3. A perusal of the provision of Section 67 of the Code, reveals that it clearly provides that the action can be initiated by the Assistant Collector on information received under sub-section (1) or otherwise, which necessarily empowers anyone aggrieved of any action to approach the Assistant Collector under Section 67 of the Code. 4.
