This petition, purportedly in public interest, has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents to construct the road leading from Town Area Kopaganj to Kasara having a length of 5.5 KM. 2. Pursuant to the directions issued, instructions have been produced, inter alia, indicating that financial sanction has been granted for the work in question and e-tender for the work has been issued. Pursuant to which, requisite work would be undertaken. 3. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the proposal was sent for a sum of Rs. 12 crores, whereas only a meagre sum of Rs. 1 Crore 50 Lakh has been sanctioned and only with a view to get over the pendency of the present PIL, the action has been taken by the respondents. 4.
