This petition, purportedly in public interest, has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents to remove the illegal encroachment of respondent nos. 4 and 5 from Gata No. 772 which is mentioned as Khalihan in the revenue records. 2. The petition was filed relying on order dated 31.08.2021 passed under Section 67 of the Uttar Pradesh Revenue Code, 2006 ('the Code') against Munshi Singh, father of respondent nos. 4 and 5 and a representation made by the petitioner in this regard. 3. A specific averment was made in para 13 of the writ petition that as per the knowledge of the petitioner, the said order dated 31.08.2021 was never challenged before any court of law. 4.
