This appeal was filed in the year 2014 seeking the following reliefs:- "(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus thereby directing the Opposite parties to take necessary steps immediately to provide sufficient staff of X-Ray Technician in its Hospital in the State. (ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus thereby directing the Opposite parties to provide necessary Equipments for X-Ray in the Hospitals in the State so the scheme of free X-Ray facilities can be implemented effectively." 2. A counter affidavit has been filed way back in 2015, inter alia stating that there are total 934 sanctioned posts of X-Ray Technicians, out of which 531 X-Ray Technicians were working on regular basis and 89 X-Ray Technicians were working on contract basis i.e. a total of 620 X-Ray Technicians.
